Staff requests & tips

Service Requests:
The first switch is Enable: "Can the waiter come to my table'' this will call the waiter. For POS Linked systems you will always need to create an article for this, otherwise we can’t send anything to the POS.
This is basically the same for Enable: "I'd like to receive the table bill". For this function you will also need to create an article in the POS system, to link these articles you can find them within the POS linked system tab.
You always need a product for service requests. You set up this product in your POS, and after synchronization the product will be available in the Jamezz BackOffice. In Menu Building > Products, you can search for this product and then edit it. In the General tab, you will see an option called “Product is presented as a service request in the app.” Turn this option on.

Transaction costs
Here we start off with “Don’t charge transaction fee for orders above”. It just doesn’t charge the customer a transaction fee above a certain amount.
The next setting will be “Transaction cost product” here you can link the article you want Jamezz to use to be able to add the transaction cost.
You can choose how you want to use the transaction cost, as percentage or as fixed amount on top of the total price of course.
You can change this by enabling and disabling “Transaction costs as fixed amount” and then filling in your desired price or percentage underneath in the box “Price”.
Tips
Here you can enable tips by enabling “Enable Tip”. This will only work when you link a product to this setting, otherwise Jamezz is not able to actually send this order to the POS linked system or the payment provider. You can link this product in the setting “Select tip product from database to use”.
You can set up the tip message in different languages. The languages you selected under the Layout and Style tab are shown here. Write the message for each language separately, then click the Save button below and also the Save button at the top of the page. Please make sure to update the tip message individually for each language.

Tip percentages
Jamezz set up this with a lowest, a medium and highest percentage. If the standard percentages not good for your company, you can change it here.
