Most of the time people would like to have an order confirmation after ordering. With data fields, you can ask your guests different questions that they have to fill in after they want to checkout. For the order confirmation you need an e-mailadress.
By clicking on E-MAIL ” for example you will get the following pop-up.
Here you are able to fill in your desired question for your customers, the red switches underneath will do the following:
Active: When you enable it, it will be activated as the name says and will be shown to your customer.
Show Keys: When you enable this it will pop up a keyboard. This function is in QR possible but most of the time guests don't use this.
Obligated: When you enable this, the question you ask your customer becomes required and can not be skipped.
To remember: When you enable this, our system may store the entered data in the browser's cache.
Send to POS: Enabling this will allow our system to send it to your connected POS system.
Anonymize: It will delete the guest data after a period of time.
Background image: This feature allows people to upload custom background images specific for the custom field that you are setting up
💡Good to know! There are a lot of possibilities in data fields. For example you can ask the name, adress, telephone number, pager numbers and notes about the order.
