Discount definitions
To get to Vouchers & coupons, go to "Voucher & coupons" in the left window.
Discount Title: Here you can give a name to the voucher you are creating.
Discount type: There are 5 different discount types you can find all 5 below with explanations.
- AMOUNT_OFF_TOTAL: If you choose this type of discount, it means that there is a certain amount of discount on the total amount of the order, which you can determine yourself.
- PECENTAGE_OFF_TOTAL: Choosing this type of discount means that a certain percentage of the entire order is given as discount. You can choose the number of percentages yourself.
- AMOUNT_OFF_PRODUCT: With this discount, a discount is given on a certain product. You determine the level of the discount and you can also choose the product to which you want to apply it.
- PERCENTAGE_OFF_PRODUCT: Here you can specify a discount in percentages at product level.
- ADD_DISCOUNTED_ PRODUCT: Here you can give a given amount as a discount on a particular product. You can determine the amount of the discount yourself.
Active: You can specify here whether the voucher should be active at the time of creation or not.
Blocked: If you don't want to use the voucher at the moment you can block it here. If you want to use the voucher again you can remove it from block.
Start discount date: You can specify the start date of the discount here. On the given date the voucher will be activated.
End discount date: Here you give an end date when the voucher can no longer be used by customers.
Max times discount can be used (0=unlimited): Here you give an end date when the voucher can no longer be used by customers.
Max times discount can be used per day (0=unlimited): You can specify here how often the discount code may be used per day. If you do not specify here, the voucher can be used without limitation.
Allow to combine with other vouchers with the same type of discount: Here you can specify if the voucher can be combined with another voucher of the same type as the current one.
Allow to combine with other vouchers with a different type of discount: Here you can indicate whether the current voucher may be combined with other types of vouchers.
Minimum total value of shopping basket before discount can be applied (0=no minimum): Here you can enter a minimum amount for the voucher codes. If the amount is below this minimum price, no discount can be applied
