Upsell

This article describes how to apply one-time upsell and no food and no drink upsell.

To apply this, go to the correct sales area and click on the green pencil icon.

Under the 'No Food' heading, you can set upsell if there is no food in the shopping cart. So the guest only orders drinks and then they are asked if they would like a sandwich to go with it, for example.

With the heading 'No Drink' this applies exactly the other way around as explained above.

And at 'One time upsell' you can apply one time upsell. This upsell will appear when the guests want to order. Here you can for example recommend a new product.

Eventually it will be displayed in the application like this:

What is the difference between one-time, "no food," or "no drinks" upsell?

A one-time upsell is always visible to customers, regardless of what they have in their shopping cart. This means that this upsell option is constantly available regardless of the composition of the shopping cart.

On the other hand, the 'no food' and 'no drink' upsell options are only displayed under certain conditions.

For the 'no food' upsell: this option appears only if the customer has no food items in their cart.

For the 'no drink' upsell: this option appears only if the customer has no drink products in his shopping cart.

In summary, the main difference between these three types of upsells is that the one-time upsell is always visible, while the 'no food' and 'no drink' upsells are only visible when there are no food or drink products in the customer's cart.
