Upsell options.
To get to product upsell, in the back office go to 'products' in the left window, select the appropriate sales area where you want to apply the upsell and then go to the product where you want to apply the upsell. At the correct product, click on the green pencil icon.
The upper section is a non-mandatory upsell: First you give the upsell a title, e.g. would you like something to eat with it? Then you can select products to be included in the upsell, you can select multiple products
The lower section is a mandatory upsell: First you give the upsell a title, then you give the mandatory upsell items. Then, when the customer wants to order the product, he has to add an upsell, otherwise the customer cannot push his order through.
