There are a lot of settings for a product. In this article you can see the possibilities for the products.
💡Good to know! It is important to know that if you are working with Jamezz and a POS system for example UnTill, Lightspeed etc. the products are synchronized from your cash register to Jamezz Backoffice. It varies what information each cash register imports from the products.
Discuss with your cash register supplier what you set up there and sync with Jamezz and after that look to the result and change the rest in Jamezz BackOffice.
Most of the time the information from the product are synced to Jamezz BackOffice. But we would like to explain the different tabs in the product.
General
On the left you see the settings you also see in the product overview. This is quite clear to set up: block, active, product name, product system name, printname, system product, category and description.
Prices and VAT% are important to set up and in the general tab you see more settings that you can use. Most of the time our clients use these settings:
Stock of the product, # EANS, Package deposit, TIP product, product is presented as a service request, the not available status and the age check (yrs).
Stock: How many items of the product do you have in stock? You can find the number there.
# EANS: Some items have an EAN-code for scanning the product. You can add the whole EAN-code here.
Package deposit: Here you can set up the package deposit for example you sell a Coca-Cola with deposit, you need a deposit product with a price and here you can add that product.
TIP-product: If you would like to ask for a tip in the application, you need a TIP-product and here you turn the button on if the product is a TIP-product. More information about how to set-up the tip function futher you can read here: https://knowledge.jamezz.com/knowledge/staff-requests-and-tips
Product is presented as a service request in app: If you would like to have the bill or you have a question to the waiter you can create a few products that are presented as a service request through turn this button on.
Not available: You can turn this button on, if you product not available is for a moment or long time. The product is show in your application but disable to order.
Age check (yrs): For example you have drinks with alcohol %, you can ask a confirmation to your guests before they add the product in the shopping basket. You enter the age limit here and the application knows that the question needs to be asked.
