On the printers page you can create and edit printer devices to use for print jobs of your sales areas.
On the printers page you can create and edit printer devices to use for print jobs of your sales areas. Once printers are set you can create print routes (per sales area) and select the printer.
Jamezz support two types of printers to direct connect and be controlled by the platform. Cloud printers (Star Micronics) and any printer that supports ESC/P (Epson Protocol).
For adding a new printer device you click on + new printer, select the sales area (if you have more than one, use the leading one), provide a name and fill in the MAC address.

Sales area: Your sales area.
Printer name: Name of the printer.
MAC Address: Unique Hardware identifier.
Print protocol: select the type of printer you want to add.
Number of prints: Minimal set 1, amount of prints will be performed per print job.
Socket token: Only used for ESC/P-based printers, the value/character set can be anything (Free to Choose) but must be unique per device.
For Cloud printers, follow the “How to install a Printer” manual. Login to the dashboard of the printer which can be accessed by browsing the IP address. Enable CloudPrint function and connect it to the Jamezz platform via server address https://print.jamezz.com/mngr/queue/printer.
For ESC/P-based printers additional the IP address is required to connect the printer with the platform. Make sure the printer MAC address and IP address are known and the IP address is set static.
Retry interval: Time in Seconds in which the Printer App will retry a failed print order job.
Use printer buzzer: If the set printer has a buzzer function you can enable this commando.
Use Print name: Enable this function if you like to print the product print name, if this value is present on product level.
Duplicate to printer: Here you can select a printer(s) to which the print orders must be sent as well.
Characters: Max amount of characters the print Job must can place per line.
In order to connect ESC/P-based printers with the Jamezz Cloud you must install the Jamezz Print Service App. Supported for Android and Windows only.

Windows: *not yet available via store. App and certificate will be directly provided by Jamezz
The version of the application is visible in the app itself. The latest version ID differs per operating system (windows/android).
Below will no longer be applicable once the app is available in the windows store:

2. Install Application
*Does windows not open and install the app automatically? (select app to open) The Windows version is not compilable: Add Store to Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC via https://github.com/lixuy/LTSC-Add-MicrosoftStore/archive/2019.zip
Unzipp the file / exctract all and open as administrator the Add-Store cmd.
In the app you fill in the matching Sales Area ID of the printer and the Socket token. If the sales area has direct payment mode on and used for a KIOSK application with PIN-payments the payment token must be filled in and payments must be turned on. After setting hit the save button.
