With fields, you can ask your guests different questions that they have to fill in after they want to checkout. For example, if you want to send an order summary then you need the mail from your guest.
In here you are able to ask your customers multiple questions. Think about questions like: What is your name? What is your Telephone Number?
By clicking on “Text” for example you will get the following pop-up.
These questions will appear before the payment screen.
Here you are able to fill in your desired question for your customers, the red switches underneath will do the following:
Active: When you enable it, it will be activated as the name says and will be shown to your customer.
Show Keys: When you enable this it will pop up a keyboard (Mainly used for Kiosks).
Required: When you enable this, the question you ask your customer becomes mandatory and cannot be skipped.
Remember: When you enable this, our system may store the entered data in the browser's cache.
Send to POS: Enabling this will allow our system to send it to your connected POS system.
Disabled: You can now disable the field so you can't use it, this is mostly used for ZIP codes, City and address so they can not edit it afterwards.
Anonymize: It will delete the guest data after a period of time.
Background image: This feature allows people to upload custom background images specific for the custom field that you are setting up
There is also a new function called "stepperLabel" this will be let you edit the name being shown as in the picture below.
